New York City Engagement

February 13, 2019

From the moment I met Hannah over our video chat, I just knew we were going to be instant friends. I was lucky enough to have her and Jeff fly me out to New York for their engagement photos soon after and it was history from there.

I normally describe adventure sessions as hiking through the mountains but this urban session was definitely an adventure – to say the least. We woke up before the crack of dawn so that we could catch the first light and to avoid all of the craziness at the Brooklyn Bridge. We popped a bottle of champagne, took swigs of Jameson and almost got ran over by the cyclists riding by.

After that, we took a subway – where I got stuck in the doors, almost lost both arms – over to the bar Hannah and Jeff met at. We also wandered around the streets for a bit until we took our midday break to stop by a brewery and then eat some pizza. Once we were all refreshed, we headed out to the Bay to catch some sunset photos.

The entire day was a blast. It felt like I spent my time with old friends and we just so happened to take photos to capture it all along the way. I literally cannot wait until their wedding later this year. I know for a fact it’s going to be one for the books! Love these two to pieces!!!!
